BCAA 4:1:1 is a dietary supplement of branched chain amino acids obtained by fermentation, with vitamins B1 and B6. BCAAs are essential amino acids, in fact the body is unable to synthesize them and must therefore be consumed through the diet. BCAA 4:1:1 is made in 1000 mg tablets in the innovative 4:1:1 ratio (4 parts of L-Leucine, 1 of L-Valine and 1 of L-Isoleucine). Branched-chain amino acids are a fundamental muscle support for athletes. If taken before training, they have mainly energetic and anti-catabolic functions, they act as an energetic substrate in order to preserve the muscle mass from not being broken down for energy purposes. If taken after workouts, they help build and restore lean mass.
