ISOBOLIC ZERO is an instantly soluble whey protein isolate food supplement with sweetener, to be reconstituted into a drink. For this supplement Eurosup has chosen a very pure undenatured whey protein isolate, produced in Ireland using the cross-flow microfiltration (CFM) method. ISOBOLIC ZERO proteins are made from the milk of Irish-raised, grass-fed cattle. The isolated whey proteins contained in ISOBOLIC ZERO are of very high purity: with the innovative system with CFM membrane technology, cross-flow microfiltration, which operates at low temperature, extremely pure, non-denatured proteins are obtained. This product contains only essential and non-essential amino acids naturally contained in whey proteins. No essential or non-essential amino acids added in this formula, the amino acid supply is the natural one and therefore the biological value of the whey proteins is guaranteed. Whey proteins are a protein source with high biological value (biological value 104) and have a high content of branched-chain amino acids. The digestion times of these proteins are rapid, so the release of the amino acids contained is fast. The ISOBOLIC ZERO formula was developed specifically for athletes. Proteins contribute to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, zinc and magnesium contribute to normal protein synthesis, folate contributes to normal synthesis of amino acids. ISOBOLIC ZERO is enriched with pineapple bromelain, with digestive function. ISOBOLIC ZERO also provides nucleotides (RIBOLIFE®) and Bacillus coagulans, a probiotic that promotes the balance of the intestinal flora. Bacillus coagulans is also known as Lactobacillus Sporogenes for its ability to produce spores and remains inactive until intestinal colonization, where it promotes the balance of the intestinal ecosystem, increases digestion and absorption of proteins and supports the immune system. Nucleotides are the subunits that make up nucleic acids - DNA and RNA. In addition to being precursors of nucleic acids, nucleotides serve as energy transporters at the cellular level and may be part of the structure of some enzymatic cofactors and metabolic intermediates. Nucleotides positively influence salivary immunoglobulin (IgA) levels in athletes, can reduce inflammatory processes induced by intense physical activity, support recovery after performance and increase resistance during prolonged exercise. ISOBOLIC ZERO is suitable for vegetarians and is gluten-free.

Lactose in whey protein isolate

Lactose is milk sugar and is naturally contained in whey protein isolate from various manufacturers and varies from approximately 2.5% to less than 1%. The carbohydrates naturally contained in the whey protein raw material consist of lactose.

Eurosup has chosen a very high quality whey protein isolate with a lactose content of less than 1 per 100 g, which on the 30 g portion becomes less than 0.3 g. Eurosup wants to be as fair as possible towards the consumer and wants to inform him about what exactly the product contains, the technical data sheet of the raw material is published on the product page.

Why not declare lactose free? Because the legislation states that to declare zero lactose must be less than 0.1%

How do some competitors claim lactose-free? Simple: they declare lactose on 100 ml of portion prepared with water and ready to drink, recommending high dilutions. To clarify: if the 30 g of proteins with 0.3 g of lactose are dissolved in 310 ml (a dilution that is not normally used) you obtain a drink with less than 0.1 g of lactose per 100 ml. So lactose-free on the product ready to consume with 30 g in 310 ml or more of water. The more water is recommended to prepare the product then declared lactose-free, and the more lactose is actually contained in the powder. For example, if I dilute 25 g of protein also containing 0.34 grams of lactose in 350 ml of water I will obtain less than 0.1 g of lactose in 100 ml of diluted ready-to-drink product. 0.34g of lactose out of 25g would mean 1.36% lactose on the powder.

We have preferred to maintain our usual maximum transparency towards the consumer and declare the lactose in the powder and not in 100 ml of product diluted with water.

Preparation in the glass: The product is instant, which means that a shaker is not necessary to prepare it. Add a portion of product (30 g = 2,5 heaped scoops) to the glass, add water and mix with a spoon for a few seconds.
