CARBO DRIVE is a food supplement of carbohydrates suitable for athletes adults, especially those who perform intense physical exercises and long-lasting muscle which lead to fatigue, consuming glycogen stores (*).
The Cluster Dextrin (highly branched cyclic dextrins) are a new type of complex carbohydrate, obtained from amylopectin (the main component of starch) of corn. These complex carbohydrates have a constant distribution of molecular weights, with low osmolarity and fast gastric emptying. The highly branched cyclic dextrin (Cluster Dextrin™) appear to be rapidly assimilated and are therefore also suitable before or during intense sporting activities. Carbohydrates contained in CARBO DRIVE, metabolized by the body, contributing to the recovery of normal muscle function(1) (contraction) after strenuous and / or prolonged exercise involving muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle *. The formula includes vitamin B6, which contributes to normal energy metabolism(2), the reduction of tiredness and fatigue(3) and the normal metabolism of glycogen and protein.
(*) The beneficial effect is obtained by the consumption of carbohydrates from all sources in total equal to 4 g per kg of body weight, with an intake in doses starting within the first 4 hours of an intense exercise and / or prolonged involving muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle and concluded in any case within 6 hours after this exercise.
